Field of activity and nature of the service

GetOffert.com is an intermediary and comparison platform through which clients can post requests for services and through which service providers can submit offers. The contracts for work covering the respective service are concluded exclusively between the client and the service provider; the provider is not a party to these contracts and does not perform the services itself. Formal preliminary check instead of a quality assessment: Insofar as the provider checks information before admitting a service provider, this is a purely formal check of the identity, trade and contact details supplied. It expressly does not constitute a quality assessment, a professional evaluation or a seal of approval.

Responsibility for content and links

The company is responsible for its own platform content under the general laws. There is no obligation to monitor third-party information transmitted or stored by users; obligations to remove or block information under the general laws remain unaffected. The respective provider is responsible for the content of linked external sites; such links will be removed without delay once any infringements become known.

Consumer dispute resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution, insofar as its operation continues. The company is not obliged and is generally not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body. Any mandatory statutory obligations to the contrary remain unaffected.

Applicable law

The law of England and Wales applies to the legal relationship between the company and the users of the platform. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the state in which a user acting as a consumer has their habitual residence remain unaffected.
